Steps for changing car ownership in Brunei for cars older than 7 years. (No Bank Loan)

Location: Land transport (Mata-Mata)

1. Get form for Car Inspection. (Have old owner sign form along with Photocopy of his/her I.C.)
2. Queue in Counter 2 with blue card for inspection.
3. Pay $5. fee
4. Once you pass the inspection, renew/apply for insurance with the insurance company of your choice. (Usually found inside same building as step #6.)
5. Sign blue card with new owner's name, address and signature.
6. Submit inside Land Transport building and wait for instructions on when you can come back for the officially stamped blue card with the new owner's name.
